Committed to aiding homeowners in mitigating wildfire risks, our experienced team witnessed the devastating impact of the 2021 wildfire season in British Columbia. Inspired by their years of frontline experience, they have dedicated themselves to providing proactive solutions to safeguard communities and assets.

Friso Wassenaar
Founder & Principal (M.A. DEM, B.A. Geography & Geomatics)
Friso, is a veteran firefighter whose expertise was forged in the crucible of battling wildfires across British Columbia between 2008 and 2014. Friso's expertise became indispensable during the challenging 2017 and 2021 fire seasons, leading to his return to active duty. Armed with a master's degree in disaster and emergency management, he has seamlessly transitioned to the urban frontlines as a structural firefighter in Vancouver. Friso's commitment to protecting communities, honed by his diverse experiences, marks him as an unwavering force in both the wildland and urban emergency response arenas.
